We may skip it then. There seems to be a nice Children's museum and history museum, but the zoo looks like it’s in the ghetto. Dang, the Sheraton looked nice too

It most definitely is. I remember as a child going to that zoo(around 1975 or 76), ad it was nice and safe. Took my son as a toddler probably around 1999, and the area was very unsafe and a shithole then. I wouldn't go anywhere near that place now. Sad.

What are the nicer areas to visit in Mississippi? Is Biloxi nice? Oxford? I guess Jackson is a no go when I head to MS but are there any must see places?

Jackson is that bad huh? Remember when Deion was hired as Jackson State's head coach and they stole his truck within the first month of him being there. It was found, which I think was only because he raised some hell about it..
And when they played in the Spring, during a game someone went broke into the locker room and stole his boombox. Like an old school boombox that he likes (I forget the story behind it, but I think it was a gift from someone).. But they broke in to steal a damn boom box.
