Off the interstate and smooth sailing. It was stoping at the Rosedale exit. There's not enough wine in the world for me had I ended up sitting in that.

I'm still in lake charles and heading to NOLA in about an hour. Tell me about the rosedale exit rather that 90.....

I downloaded this but I can't (sadly) figure out how it works ... I don't see where it alerts you to traffic before you come upon it enough to detour.

Take 10 end of basin bridge, get off at Rosedale exit and turn left. Take 77 for a few miles then turn right on 76 until you hit LA 1 in port Allen. Profit

I don't dislike waze but I find intrix more user friendly. All the graphics on waze are too much. Eta: I like intrix traffic cameras too

You have to be travelling to a specific destination. It will not only alert you but give you alternate routes.

are you asking where the Rosedale exit is?
It's the I-10 Grosse Tete exit but you go North to Rosedale instead of South to Grosse Tete.
There is a hwy 76 (Rosedale Road) that runs parallel to I10 all the way to US1/ Port Allen. You can also link up with US-190.

Waze gets lots of love on this site, but I like INRIX better. INRIX is just a strait up traffic ap. Not all the messaging and other crap. So yeah, I think its easier to use.

Yeah inrix. Sorry. And I agree with all the reasons you listed. I just need straight data without the cute avatars and pretty colors.

According to inrix and the cameras it's slow moving until you get through normal trouble spots. Probably smoother after split. I'm about to get on bridge. At light in PA. Im a traffic sensai. I sit in it so often that I'm zen as chit as long as I know there's a bottle of chilled rose' waiting for me.
