you can also take LA 3000 (the very first exit off of the Basin bridge) head north to LA 76 East and run that all the way to LA1 Port Allen. Just a though should traffic be FUBAR west of Grosse Tete

I don't know how you do it, I have thoughts of setting my car on fire as I jump off the bridge.

I had to. I was going insane. I drive 40-45k/year for my job.

Doesn't mean I don't hate it and want to punch idiot drivers in their face.. But I've mastered the art of suppressing my rage and channeling it into other emotions.

That's the same amount of miles I'm driving a year. I've sat in PA and it sucks. And to top it off the police hand out ispection and seat belt tickets.

I feel your pain, then. I'm in compliance with my stickers and seatbelt since my company owns and manages my car. Now my personal vehicle is a different story..there is hope. I'm now getting off 10 at highland. But you west bound folks aren't going anywhere fast. Have a lovely weekend people.

How far in advance? Like I put in a route (home to Florida) and pressed go (or start or whatever it was) but I was in my living room and not actually going anywhere. Nothing indicated any traffic other than the little triangles that showed road construction but "reroute" was never mentioned.
