Is there a single Red Roof Inn in the United States near an airport that isn't a complete animal house?

Beings that you’re new here, we already know New Orleans is a shot hole.

I see what you did there. Even if you didn't mean to do it, I still see it

It’s been 951 days since I’ve spent a dollar in that parish and that streak will not end anytime soon.

This is an absurd comment. My kids have been going to games for the last 12 years and I have been going for the last 40+. Never had an issue with anyone on a gameday.

I assume you live nearby. I don't. Why would I want to drive multiple hours, one-way, to see a terrible Saints team, then leave and drive multiple hours back home? Tell me, where should I go around the Superdome to enjoy myself, spend money, and enjoy New Orleans culture. Maybe interact with the locals that make the city so great?

So because you’ve yet to experience violence in NOLA, All is well?
I understand having a different take, but acting like NOLA is a family destination is fricking stupid. No point in putting your infant in a child safety seat since
You’ve never had one die in a car accident, right?

I hate it for you that you have to lock yourself in your home. I mean, you'd be an idiot to leave it. That's where bad things happen. I mean just because they haven't happened to you yet, doesn't mean they aren't going to.

At least you have the internet and pron to keep you busy while tucked away securely in your bubble.

My son lives in the Bywater neighborhood of New Orleans. I visited him last week and whenever I go to visit him I feel like i am a target that sticks out, with the culture and hipsters. So I don't visit him often. Since I visited him last week, barring an emergency, I don't care if I ever go to the Bywater again.

And I live in Metairie.

Drive straight down Poydras to the river. There's a casino, tons of shopping, great food and drinks, Jackson Square, Cafe du Monde, the French Market. That's where any self-respecting tourist would hang out.

One of the things that makes me laugh the hardest at leftist is how they are absolutely terrified of admitting anything against the narrative, even when it's obvious. Anyone with eyes that can see, could easily observe the decline in Nola. These cowards will deny it to the end, because to acknowledge it would essentially make them an apostate in their "religion". Bullets could fly right by their head and they'd say:

It's how we've gotten to the point where you could have a full grown naked man standing in front of them, twig and berries in their face, and they'd say "I don't what sex this person is. It could be a woman."

You've come to the right place for that.

One of the things that makes me laugh the hardest is dumb asses who use the juvenile left vs. right analogy to hide behind the fact that they're doing exactly what they criticize the "other side" for doing.

Decline? Yes. I have no desire to live there. Visit? Any chance I get.

I just don’t feel the juice is worth the squeeze anymore.

I’ve mentioned the video of women fighting with a backdrop of a burnout race ON Canal at the corner of Bourbon/ Canal. It may have been Royal. I’m done. It was a Friday night about midnight if the comments were to be believed. No cops. Nothing. This wasn’t 5am off of Rampart. Told me all I needed. The city is not safe. It’s not for me anymore. A tourist.

My last trip was probably 4 years ago. Maybe 5. Then I noticed a definite lack of Police presence. I saw no crime. But I was keeping early hours as we had a then young son.
