Idiot libs will soon line up to be separated from their money.
One born every minute.

I think that's where Jim Taylor Buick/GMC in Monroe got their waiting room furniture.

I mean that's valid depending on how you view the furniture. I think a couple were a tad interesting on first glance, but seriously doubt I would buy and/or spend a premium.

If you are going to over pay for trash, you probably don't need afterpay.

I hate seeing this sort of "art". I have no issue with odd furniture if someone likes it but you need to demonstrate you understand at least the basics of building furniture. A lot of people hate Rothko and Pollock paintings but both demonstrate an understanding of composition and color.
I looked at the Skid Row 2 chair and table for a few minutes and nothing in their construction or design indicates the person has the least understanding of how to design a chair.
First, chair design and execution is the most difficult of any of the basic case goods pieces. Chairs are usually one of the last piece a woodworker tackles in terms of designing them from the ground up save things like Adirondack chairs that a baboon could build. The Skid Row chair could have been interesting if some basic design elements would have been followed. The back should have a lean to it and the seat should not be totally flat, that is chair 101. The overall execution is going to lead to it racking and falling apart if people actually try to sit in it. There should be no mechanical fasteners and if you want them for some look they need to be more interesting than yellow zinc start drive decking screws.
If Quinn knew how to design a chair, use mortise and tenons and maybe some exposed dovetails his found material chairs might actually be worth the asking price to someone as it is he might as well just be sitting on the sidewalk with a cup in his hand asking for $900. If they really want to help him they should find a furniture maker he could apprentice for and learn how to make a proper chair even if the finished product is designed to look like it came from HoboDickCheese's camp.
