Landlord sued me because he had a ho living in a small shed on our property that was using OUR electricity. I cut her off. So landlord tried to sue me for all kinds of made up shite with BS receipts from a "cleaning company" that only had a PO BOX as an address was coincidentally owned by his MIL.

I dug up all kinds of stuff on them and easily won my case and he had to make payment to me every month for over a year. They even made him pay damages for being such a obvious a-hole.

Got sued for millions by a bitch on the LSU Gymnastics team following a bump in traffic. Problem was that the bump occurred three weeks BEFORE she won the NCAA’s in vault (or floor, I can’t remember). Anyway, she tried to claim all kinds of disability and we went to trial and destroyed her arse. She ended up having to pay all my attorneys fees.

Sued twice from the same accident (driver and passenger)
Bitch ran a red light but lied to the cop trying to pin it on me. No witnesses stayed. Dumbass cop declared no fault so they sued. The driver got nothing, the son settled for 1500. His dad is a prominent PI attorney so it was surprising.

Sued another time for a minor accident. Dont know the outcome

I was in a nasty head on collision as a passenger so i sued for a good bit.

Injured myself on the job and after 8 damn years finally settled with them recently

Got sued over a car accident because the other party was already being treated from a previous car accident.

As a result, the insurance company didn’t want to pay her the max for injuries already being treated. Hence I get sued because the insurance company won’t pay.

I was sued, never served, and found out i lost.

Had a softball team who played every session, well, after playing the first week, and still waiting to be paid for league dues, one guy fricked another guys wife, and the team became split right down the middle, everyone but 4 of us quit. They owed the money, me and the other 3, had paid.

Owner sued me, i told him, no players, i ended up paying $300ish to resolve it. Never ran another team after that.

When I lived in Tulsa, a few years were in Consumer Finance, Class A lenders. I took over representing one company in Federal Bankruptcy District Court when a co-worker changed careers.

I inherited some files from him and another friend from another finance company that broke down by several categories every single case presided over by every judge in the district. This was early 90's, just as PC's began to be publicly available, talking 286 and 386 series computers, pre Windows, DOS only operating systems. I started reorganizing and assessing the files on the judges such that when I went to the Meeting of Creditors and stuff I knew beforehand what I could squeeze out of the filers. I was so on point, so detailed, the Oklahoma Tax Agent who attended every meeting would just take notes on my interactions with debtors and lawyers and never have a question to ask. When I first started attending those roles were reversed with me taking notes on his interactions.

I was kicking so many of the bankruptcy mills attorney's asses that they got together to get a bench ruling stating only attorneys could engage the court system so I would stop embarrassing them. That occurred about 10 days before I changed employers anyway.

I also represented a couple of Finance Company's and a Car Lot I worked for in Small Claims Court. Defaulted loans are easy to win judgement with or without documentation when the lender representative knows the system and how to work it. With the big Finance Company I had 5 process servers numbers on speed dial (stuck to using 3 mainly).

The Small Claims Judge (the Late Judge Pigman) was surprised to find out I had only 1 Business Law 101 class. He strongly advised me to go to law school as I performed better than the damned ambulance chasers that prowled the Tulsa County Courthouse halls. The only way he learned was an ambulance chaser noticed I was representing the car lot on a repo deficiency when I had only a few weeks earlier been with a finance company. Simply explained to judge and provided my check stubs showing I changed employers and the name of the car dealer on the note matched the DBA on the business license. Not required, actually frowned upon, to be an attorney in Small Claims cases anyway but it cleared up my "interest", and thus ability, to represent the lender.

After I left the car Lot they had 3 part time girls to keep up the paperwork on the judgements I had obtained. Three people just filling out and filing wage garnishments continuances and recording transactions and the such.

Those were fun times. The work was not hard, just voluminous.

That 1st finance company had 3 offices in Tulsa alone. It was a lot harder being THE lending department for the largest office in the entire corporation (1500 offices nationwide). There were 17 other employees in that branch office all doing collections and soliciting loans. When they would get anyone ready to apply they'd switch the call to me to take the app, pull the credit, make loan decision, set the appointment to close, then close the loan. I averaged 120 loan closings per month, somewhere around 1800 total loan decisions per month (I also handled the dealer paper: those 90/120/180 day same as cash deals on furniture/appliances). Walk in the office door 15 minutes early every day to: lines 1 thru 3 on hold for you, and your first 5 closes are here in the loan booths, and these people too. The last week of the month I would do collection calls 5pm-9pm cherry picking and choosing the big balance potential success debtors. Would end up, dollars wise, collecting in the top 3 for the month like that. Oh, at that time I was the only Assistant Manager in the company that had a Credit Limit and could approve loans independently. Boss made sure I had the same limits he had, except for real estate where he had $5k higher.

Threatened to sue a few times. Once for malpractice, a couple car accidents, and a personal injury due to negligence, but was able to negotiate on my own.

I wish there were a database of who has sued. So if I get in a fender bender (not my fault), I would base my decision to sue on the info from the database. For example, Sally has filed suit 3 tines in 4 years for various issues. She hits me, and my neck hurts just a hair... lawsuit. If Joe hits me, seems like a normal dude, never filed suit, and my neck is sore... no lawsuit.

I am a doctor and my first suit was just thrown out (crazy woman) finally, and less than a week later my second lawsuit ever was filed against me. I’ll likely win, but it sucks anyway.

Yeah Dr./pt. lawsuits suck. I worked an ER with a Dr. got sued over a supposed CT contrast reaction, reaction that happened a full 7 weeks after the scan. Affected his practices as he NEVER ordered scans with contrast again! And the lawsuit was still winding its way through the system 8 years later.
