I knew Johnny and Mark Hoyt when they were kids, their mother lived in a duplex by me when I was at LSU. Johnny is in Angola for killing Genore Guillory in Clinton, LA. I was watching a show one day and realized I knew this kid, always knew he'd be a delinquent.

Yes. I worked with a guy who got into a shootout and killed a police officer in Bakersfield California. He did 12 years before being released. I worked with him after his release. Guy was certifiable.

There was a family murder suicide in my community when I was a kid. Father shot his wife then himself in front his kids. I went to school with them.

what is that piece of shite's current status? is he still writing letters whining about how unfair his treatment is?

No idea..but he did try to sue my FIL and I and was going to act as his own attorney. He hand wrote something close to 100 pages of documents with all sorts of crazy accusations. It made for some good dinner conversations

I worked for a waste hauling company (in corporate in the finance department) for a good while. You name a crime and I know a guy who has done it.

This guy is on the 10 Most Wanted List and trained at the gym I worked at and worked at the Mayo Clinic as a respiratory therapist. I called on his department and we knew each other by name and my college roommate hunted with him and was questioned by the FBI after the murders. Fisher slit the throats of his wife and two kids and then set their house on fire before fleeing, presumably after being confronted by the wife about having an affair.

A few people, mostly from my small hometown. Don't ask me why, but there were alot of horrific crimes there for such a small town. One guy stabbed a woman 30+ times in front of her kids after she walked in unexpectedly during a robbery. Another shot his GF and her dad with a shotgun at close range during a fit of rage - obviously both died. Another guy I went to high school and 3 others murdered a guy and drove around with him "Weekend at Bernie's" style for a couple hours before burying him. Both the first 2 guys are serving life in Angola; the ring leader of the other four guys is the prison in St. Gabriel after the other 3 testified against him.

I worked construction with a guy when I was younger that ended up murdering someone about 10 years ago. Dude was very strange, a big dumb guy who was an absolute weirdo. He was a compulsive liar, I mean just crazy shite that nobody believed but he'd never back of his stories. Even when proven that he was full of shite. He got fired for stealing from the company and a few years after that killed a old lady in Monroe.
ETA: His name was Will Panich.

Yep. My best friend was an Air Force SP. Served two tours of duty in Iraq, and one in Tajikistan. He has had to kill, too numerous to count, and he knew it was he that did it.

He still has horrible nightmares to this day and is on several different prescriptions.

Unfortunately my friend had to be hospitalized recently. No troll, this is real shite.

My BIL is in prison for 15 years for killing someone while driving drunk the night after he graduated magna cum laude from college. Was 4.5 times over limit and high.

My brother initials are LL from village St George. Went to Lee with y'all and very tight with Darin and my mom with their mom.

mikelbr... Just looked at my yearbook. Your brother class of '87? I was class of '84 but I remember him and I remember him playing for my dad. Good guy most definitely.

So y'all lived in Village St. George? I lived in Briarcliff off Highland, right between Iberville Terrace and Oak Hills. I used to spend the night at my buddy's house on Rue de la Place and we would sneak out and ride our bikes to the 7/Eleven on Perkins right next to your neighborhood for beer. Rode through Village St. George to get there.

Yeps. That and the Village Grocery were the go-to places for candy and video games. Village Grocery is still there but 7-11 is now Marty J's I believe(was a Stabiler catering joint for few years).

Man this is funny. I was coming back here to try to determine who your brother was and noticed that I never even did see the other day your post with the initials, even though I actually replied to the one right above it. Geez. Either my brain ain't right or I was in a hurry that day. I think it was the latter.

But anyway, yeah man... Tell your bro I said hello. I don't think I ever knew you. You said you're a good bit younger right?

I think I just read a review in the Advocate online of that place. Got a bad review that I felt was pretty over the line. Seemed almost like a hit piece. A lot of people came to the defense of Marty J's in the comments section.

6 years younger. I was running around playing in the dirt piles as a toddler when y'all played.

Yea you see that shite too? The comments were hilarious. Unless a place is attracting tourists and relies on reviews, food critics need to stay the frick out of restaurants. It's hard enough to survive as it is.
