Have you ever gotten angry at a drivethru, after ordering, and driven off before paying?

I know it is kind of childish, but I used to do it many years ago at the Wendy's on State St. when they were out of potatoes.
I did it for the first time in 15 years the other day, at Taco Bell. The price for one of the combos was 60 cents higher than it was posted on the sign. No big deal, but that shite pisses me off like nothing else. So I completed my order then drove thru the line and found something else to eat.

I can't think of a drive through that has given me my food before paying save for Sonic where I pay the girls with pennies.

I did it just the other day. cant remember why. i do it when they are out of something but i dont finish the order, i just dip out

No, but I've left a basket full of groceries in Walmart when I realized how long the lines were. Hire some people to check me out or hire some people to restock...

Someone in front of me at McDonald's pulled off after paying before they got the order. Long wait.

Lady asked for my order at the drive through at Wendy's, so I got done ordering and there was no response from her. 3-5 mins later still nothing so I drove off

Just once at a Popeyes in Baton Rouge many years ago. The place was extra dysfunctional that day and I wasn't the only one who drove off like that.

I don't get mad over food that cost me less than $10. It isn't worth the stress.

It isnt the money, it's the bad customer service. I would feel the same whether it was a dollar or a hundred dollars.

A few times, the one I can remember is at Popeyes. The thing is I actually paid already. When I got to the window, I paid and they asked me to pull up in a parking spot, they just started frying the shrimp, which I ordered. After 10 mins I started to get pissed. It was packed, inside and through the drive way. Then after 20 mins I just said frick it...

My wife and I got seated by the hostess at a restaurant today. Lunch. Nice place.
Sat for 15 minutes without anyone coming up to us, no waters, no drink orders, nothing. Walked out. I wonder how long it took for someone to finally come over.
This is ultimately a sign of a good economy. When the economy gets shitty, food service gets really good. When opportunities abound in a good economy, food service suffers.

I know that. It's low quality, low value food made by low skill laborers. I get mad at myself more than them.

If this is the first time you have done this then you don't frequent Popeyes very often.
