Few months ago when I went to Popeye's I waited around for a solid 10 minutes before asking the employee on her phone if she was going to take my order. She responded with a brief "Nah". frick that place, especially the one on the Prairieville exit.

My biggest beef is when they expect you to know the special names of something that they clearly know what you're talking about.

Me: Can I get a tostada

Worker: You mean the Fiesta super loaded tostada october midnight?

Me: Yes....the only tostada on your menu.

Also when you are trying to place an order with specifics and the cut you off mid-sentence to say something like "crispy or grilled". Bitch, I was in the middle of telling you that.

Not totally related, but sort of. I stopped going to Taco Bell because I haaaate the way they handle the drive thru. For whatever reason, they say "hi, how are you?" If I say, "fine, thanks," it's often followed by dead silence. If I just start stating my order without answering the "how are you?" I feel rude. It's just a dumb, awkward policy.

At the Popeyes on jones creek they say "welcome back to Popeyes." at the speaker. And I always think, what if it was my first time? But then I think, maybe they just know.

Wow.

Just say Fine or Good and spout off your order.

Burger King - that nauseatingly popular, vanilla-coconut, body slather overrode the smell of the burgers. Had to go.

Why can't they just follow normal protocol & say "May take your order?"

It's not like I'm missing much by avoiding Taco Bell.

It's sad that the fast food jobs are now dominated by 30 and 40 year olds instead of teenagers as it was 20 years ago. It's not like the dad in American Beauty where he got tired of the bullshite corporate life and chose to go easy, it's people who jockeying a register at BK is their highest achievement in life - they don't aspire more because that'd knock their EBT bennies down a few grand. Some of these places in BR are the worst of the worst - such as the Waffle House on Sherwood. I've driven across this country countless times eating in some of the best and shittiest restaurants known to man (truck stops!) - by far the gulf states are loaded with the scummiest looking lot of braindead 40 year old slackers.

Unlike you I prefer to conceal my personal ideologies. Kudos on showing everyone how much of a jackass you are so openly. But if we are making assumptions here, I assume you work a manual labor job and live in a predominately black area.

Not really.

If the food doesn't make you gag nothing will.

I'm intelligent and healthy. I don't allow the bottom of the barrel to feed me processed garbage by eating at fast food restaurants.

Lady(I think) handed me the food at Wendy's drive and nearly puked on the spot. Drove up 10 feet and threw it all in the trash.

Kinda

At Taco Bell..busy at lunch. Waiting for my order I see some "friends" get their order before mine. Someone complains about their order being wrong (because they went out of order from the screen, I bet) and the line a-hole rolls his eyes before serving the guy.

I'm almost ten minutes in and ask about my order. Same dick rolls eyes and I wait until he's almost done making. It before I walk the frock out. Worth the $3.50 to piss that jerk off.
