Yes. Freshman year algebra. The teacher was so sweet, but a complete pushover. We could, and would, actually walk directly up to the tray that we put tests and quizzes in, look through other tests, and change answers right there in front of everyone. I feel bad for her as I got older.

We made her flip one day when myself and another guy crushed altoids at our desks without her seeing. Then chopped them up and did a line in front of her. Still didn't get in trouble.

I used this line all the time.

BUT AS A JOKE.

I'd say "I took the test and I got a B"

High school senior year Physics class. We were reviewing for the first test of the year and the teacher said that we didn't need to memorize formulas - he'd give us all the formulas we'd need.

On test day, he handed out the tests and someone asked about the formula sheet. He walked to the chalkboard and wrote F=ma and said that we could derive every formula we'd need from that equation. He thought it was funny. It was officially on from that point.

He tried the same trick for every other test that year but we were ready. I had an old TI calculator that could be disassembled easily and I stashed notes inside of it.

I've never cheated. Carry a 3.5 currently in PETE.

Story: Two days ago in Rao's final I pause to collect my thoughts and have that distinct feeling one gets when someone is peering over your shoulder. I turn to my right and a classmate of mine is shamelessly staring at my exam. I gaffed, finding it more amusing than anything. They apologized via text message later.

Oh yeah. In physics class in HS, I used to write the formulas in pencil on the inside of my calculator cover.

Had a class where each test was two questions, both essays and written in a "blue book". The study guide would have 4 potential essays to study. I would write all 4 essays and email them to myself before class, and screenshot it on my phone. During the test, I would put my phone under the blue book and just transfer the essay over.

Masters level finance. The professor used a proctor to administer the exam. The exam was 18 pages and each page had one question. I knew going in I needed at least a 90 to get an A in the course. I had one question i knew was incorrect so i couldn't afford to miss another. I was once again stumped on the last question. I tore the page out put it in my pocket turned the test in and walked out. Got a 94.

Had one of those "forever in high school" guys sitting next to me once, he had to have been 19-20 and just not that bright. Super nice guy though. Asked me to make my scantron more visible so he could look over and copy my answers on a final, he really needed the grade and wanted to finally graduate.

I obliged, victimless crime. Guy is probably a welder or some other respected trade now.

A good portion of my teachers said they didn't care if we grouped up for homework, and a good portion of our classes had open book tests. Their only caveat was that they had zero reservations about failing the whole class, so you had better be damned sure the person you're getting the answers from know their stuff.

Yep this was my go-to.

I would write tiny notes in code on my desk, and then lick my fingers and wipe them off after the test.

Things like "n1 imsim" (translation: "Newton's 1st law - in motion stays in motion"). Just enough for me to remember the whole definition or whatever I'd need to regurgitate on the test.

One of my government classes in college was tough because I refused to go to class or take notes or study.

There was this really hot girl next to me who smelled great every day.

I used to copy her multiple choice tests bubble for bubble. It was all great, failed the first test, got an A on test 2 and 3. Then the final came, we had a ski trip planned and were leaving 2 days before the final was scheduled. I asked to take it early. Professor didnt want to but let me. I took the test, guess I didn't do well. I never received credit for that class and had to take again. Hell of ski trip though.

Also, used to write tiny arse little cheat sheets. Could take a semesters worth of notes and put them on 5 or 6, 2 by 3 inch pieces of paper. If it looked like i was gonna get caught, just toss them in your mouth like gum. Problem was, by the time I wrote all that crap as small as I could I would just about have it all memorized.

Last cheating came from PED. I constantly popped those little pink footballs or the time release stuff. That stuff seriously was performance enhancing.

I was taking British Literature in college. The teacher would call on students to read passages out loud. This one douch bag guy used to read with a lot of passion and feelings. It sounded stupid but the teacher loved him for it. He was such a suck up. Well, we are taking finals and I see that the suck up guy is cheating. He is sliding his notebook out with his foot, read it, and then slide it back under his chair. He is loud as frick and several of us see him. I just shake my head and laugh. The student gets up and turns in his test. The teacher takes off his glasses and stands up and I'm thinking he is busted. He then shakes his hand saying "it has been an absolute pleasure teaching you, I mean that." The student says "I was honored to be here." Holy crap, I almost busted out laughing. Later on next semester I see the student and say I can't believe the teacher did not catch you cheating, you were freaking loud. He said "yeah, that professor was a F'ing dumb arse, I knew I was safe."
