I've read that vegas shooter bought his weapons over the internet. They imply that he bought weapons with no background check. It's been my experience that I had to have them shipped to dealer with ffl and they did background check before I picked up the gun. Have you ever bought a gun over the internet with no background check?

That’s what they want people to think.

they imply that, but that is crap. If he bought them over the internet he went through the same process we do. But that doesn't fit the media narrative

I’m pretty sure he got those guns from Eric Holder.

You are correct. I bought a couple from
Academy Sports and they will only ship to store and run a background check when you come to pick it up.

He bought the lions share of his guns from Cabellas and passed background checks.

Yep, bought one last month.

There's no background check to buy and have it shipped to the ffl. The ffl does the background check.

SWIM remembers when you could buy every firearm imaginable off the Silk Road. That person probably still has a few laying around.

They do the background check when the gun is delivered to the FFL. And you can only ship a gun to an FFL.

It's possible. Most ppl buy off the internet and ship to an FFL but there is a loop hole to where if you buy from a private seller in the same state that you reside in, it's considered a face to face sale and no FFL required.

Obama must have forgotten to say this when he was talking about gun control. I'm sure it was an honest mistake. That being said, the closest you can get to buying online without a background check is buying the kits

I have bought about 15 guns off the internet from all over the US.

I have never ran across anybody willing to break FFL transaction laws and send me a gun without a background check.

So there is a background check, before you can take posession. I'm licensed concealed carry, and still have to fill out the form, but the dealer doesn't have to send it in and wait for approval since I have it.
