They impounded his Ferrari...
The best part was he actually got arrested before the game so he didn't even get the pleasure of watching the game before going to the clink.
And of course the OT detectives found his mug shot and posted it.

Twice for underage drinking and once for fighting. Got lucky plenty of other times though.

One day. Don’t want to say what for but it involved drinking. Now I make sure to do my best to avoid things that could bring me there again. It was hell. I avoid people now that are too stupid to understand consequences.

Me neither. But I've been pulled over a few times for speeding.

For work purposes, many, many times. I’ve been every level of facility, all the way to United States Penitentiary (Max). I’ve been on death row in Florida. They’re all the same, dirty, dark, loud and scary. Full of people that decided to throw away their life.

I was in jail for a few hours in Winona Mississippi back when the speed limit was 55 MPH. I was driving north on I-55 following a car with Missouri plates with some old ladies in it doing 80 when a Mississippi Highway Patrol officer pulled both of us over. He went to their car first and got the driver's license then came back to me and took my license. He was looking through my windows and spotted a small ice chest on the floor in the back that contained some ham sandwiches, plus two cokes, and one beer. He ordered me out of the car, took the ice chest out and looked inside. He pulled the beer out of the ice chest and held it up high in the air for nobody to see and declared, "You in Montgomery County, boy, and Montgomery County is a dry county. Put yo hands behind yo back" I complied and he handcuffed me and put me in the back seat of his car. He then went to the car from Missouri and gave the driver of the car her license back and they left.
He came back to the car and sat in the drivers seat. I told him that I had not been drinking at all and could he give me a break. He then asked me if I had any contraband in my car and I said no. He said he would search my car and if I was telling the truth he would let me go, but if I lied I would be in big trouble. He went back to my car and found my pistol in the glove compartment and a billy club under the passenger seat. He came back to his car and said, "What's this, you lied to me." I told him that wasn't contraband, that I was from Louisiana and those things were perfectly legal in my state. He said, "You ain't in Louisiana, BOY, and you goin' to JAIL.", and away we went.
We went to Winona, and on the way to the jailhouse he saw a black man walking on the side of the road, stopped and talked to him and arrested him too, presumably for being black and walking in Mississippi. When we got to the jailhouse he charged me with possession of alcohol in a dry county and two counts of carrying a concealed weapon. I asked if I could make a phone call, so I called my cousin, District Judge James Hughes , in Natchez. I told James what had happened and he told me, "He can't do that, let me make some calls." I hung up the phone and sat back down while the jailer filled out some paperwork. They were about to take me back to the jailcell when the phone rang. The jailer answered and turned to the trooper and said, "It's for you." and handed him the phone. I couldn't hear what was said on the other end, but the all the trooper said was, "Yes sir. Yes sir. No sir. But, but, yes sir, Yes sir, Yes sir. I understand sir. Yes sir, goodbye sir."
The trooper told the jailer that I wasn't going back to the cell, and to return my pistol and billy club to me. The trooper apologized to me for the misunderstanding and took me back to my car that was still on the side of the road. On the way back to my car he told me that the call he got was from the head of the Mississippi Highway patrol. Before he dropped me off he asked who I had called, so I told him. He apologized again, I got out of his car, and he drove off. I didn't get my beer back though

Yeah HS spring break 1972...doing REALLY stupid stuff. My bail was equal to the fine, the cops said don't bother coming back for trial. I may still be wanted in Florida...

Twice.
Spent the night in OPP after a friend’s wedding for public intoxication and criminal trespassing. The second was a DUI some years later.
Finally learned my lesson after the second.

No, but I did have a layover once in Cleveland. Longest six hours of my life. The PTSD is constant.

I did 30 days in EBRPP back in the mid 90's. Drug charges that wound up getting dropped. They had me on the wing with other drug offenders so not a big deal, but not enjoyable. Look and act confident, don't mess with anybody and nobody will mess with you. Played cards and had daytime TV, did a little gambling for cigs. The pure lack of freedom to do as you choose was the worst part, but I believe Angola would be a much different experience that I will not be finding out about.
