Then you should spend an afternoon watching Maury, Dr. Phil, Jerry Springer, Cheaters, etc., then observe the wildebeests at your local Walmart, visit a local pawn shop or two, then back to the TV for either Cops or Live PD, or maybe one of those shows where people find love in prison, then finish it off with some reality TV such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians and you will feel like a winner at life. Guaranteed.

Go inside at a taco bell in the middle of the day.

Sometimes things got me down in the last 8 years since the 2nd divorce. The usual stuff like Splitting time with kids and missing them, wondering how the frick I got here. Thinking I'll never get ahead b/c my exes take every cent I earn. blah blah blah.

But Overall No. I'm an optimistic laid-back MFer.
And I'm grateful as hell for being wired that way b/c I do acknowledge depression is REAL and a real bitch of a disease.

See? Tigers win @ Mizzou tonite.

Never open the box.

Don't give it life or breath.

Go do something instead.

For sure, I'm meaning the people who are just feeling down or stuck in a rut. Things arent too bad compared to alot of lunatics walking around. I'm convinced a fair amount of them reside here in the OT.

Inevitable part of life. How you deal with it is what's important. Do things that support yourself emotionally, physically, mentally. Incremental change for the better is what gets you out.

I certainly have.

But I don’t like demeaning people’s problems because other people have it worse. Sure someone’s family member dying of cancer is way worse than a guy getting passed over for a promotion, but the guy still can be down in the dumps about it.

Nope. Just think your worst day might not even be someone's best day

Sorry to hijack OP but...

Have you done EOL counseling? What kind of stuff do they tell you? I have some family going through this but dont feel comfortable talking with them, Id rather hear it from a stranger.

Yeah I wasn't trying to get into that. I am not interested in the counseling. Im good, it's those left I think about.

It will be a relief for me.

If assisted suicide were legal, would you do it?
