I got cut off at bogies on birthday one year. I agreed with the bartender decision and asked for a water. A friend of mine disagreed started yelling at the bartender to get me a beer. We all got tossed and then he got thrown out circle k too.

Twice.

The most recent was at Buffalo Wild Wings on Trivia night or something.

Apparently I had 16 drinks in 2 hours (doubles). The system said I couldn't have any more booze.

To be fair, in BR, you have to leave at 2 so that shouldn't count.

Getting cut off at Curlee's in Slidell, now that counts.
And that shithole in Pearl River, well, I had to leave on account of my health.

So, just once.

Not counting that deal in Cocoa Beach, either. Strippers are dumb, errybody knows that.

I went to this bar in Downtown San Antonio one time. I just ate dinner, maybe had 1 beer with my meal, and then went here to wait on some friends. I ordered a glass of Woodford Reserve, drank it, and was getting ready to go meet my friends. Before I could ask for the check, the bartender was bringing it to me, told me that he was cutting me off and that I needed to leave. I was about to do that anyways, so I just paid, shrugged it off, and left. It bothered me more, the more I thought about it.

You should've told the bartender to go frick himself and stiffed him like a boss as you signed the check.

Only twice, both in Arkansas, and neither of the times did I even have a buzz. Once at a bar at a Comfort Inn (after 4 drinks), and once at an Outback Steakhouse after 2 drinks. The bartender said that Conway limits the number of beer you can serve to someone as only 2, but for me to "not worry, because you can order extra appetizers and soft drinks to make up for it." Left and immediately went to Chili's next door who didn't cut me off at 2.

Wow! Just saw this and went to read AJC. Tragic for the family.

It immediately reminded me of this one from 2013

quote:

In 2013, a man committed suicide during a Braves-Phillies game when he jumped about 85 feet from an upper level at Turner Field.

About 7 years ago I was cut off after 2 beers at Pizza Hut in Elk City, Oklahoma. They told me it was a family establishment and they don't let anybody have more than 2.

Yes. A bar in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Do not order a "sober up" shot.

Once at a local dive bar when I was under 21. I wasn't very drunk and it was an older crowd bar. Meeting with some friends who were a bit older. For some reason the old lady tending bar decided she didn't want to serve me anymore. Everyone I was with didn't believe me when I said she wouldn't serve me anymore as I wasn't close to the drunken in my group. She had served me 2 or 3 bourbon and cokes already, so it wasn't the age thing. And I had only had those drinks.

ETA: I also just remembered that she was charging me significantly more than everyone else per drink. One of the people I was with called her out about that. She had no real reason as she didn't even know I wasn't 21. She just though she could pull one over on me (which I guess she almost did).
