A quick check-out is far from guaranteed. In fact, if you don't want to end up collecting litter (while dodging other drunk drivers, presumably) you may want to go ahead and stay in for 48 hours.

I got the cuffs slapped on me and thrown in the back of the cop car by some piece of shite cop but never went to jail

What you said came across as all encompassing, not just what has transpired here. You’re a fool if you think going to jail, especially in this country, where jails are privately funded (prison labor used to fight wild fires in California) and someone’s presence there means they deserve to be there.

I spent a day in Alcatraz. I hit a home run during reck time and ran around the bases. Weather was nice that day. They gave me a guided tour.

Have done two overnighters at 3 jails. One in Webster TX for an underage PI charge where the officer really couldve screwed me but let me off with just that. Second was for underage PI and pot possession. Spent the night in the cold arse League City jail (One side is a cinder block wall with the blocks stacked where air would vent) before being sent to Galveston County the next morning. Both times just kept to myself and was respectful with the cops and jailors.
Both happened within about 4 months of each other in the arse end of my senior year of high school. While I did get busted I was extremely lucky to have the cops, lawyers on both sides, and judges that I did. School never found out so I graduated on time and did nothing more than an absolute load of community service. Spent about every day cleaning up parks for most of my summer

In junior high up in Pittsburgh, the school sent us to Western Pen for the scared straight program. Everyone with 4 detentions or a suspension had to go. Ghey.
