I had the right to remain silent but I didn't have the ability.

that's associated with state prisons. Most people who get arrested go to county/parish jails, which are fairly tame.

No. I obey the law. If you obey the law you too may avoid getting your arse kicked by the police.

Sometimes the “law” makes stupid mistakes.

I mostly do too now. That wasn't always my policy though.

Twice. Ended up in prison for a few days due to an administrative screwup.

It's definitely strengthened by resolve that I do not belong with those people. A few days is fine, but those people are like family to each other. They really don't seem to hate being in prison.

Yep. But I was black out drunk the entire time and don’t remember anything other than throwing up all over the back of the cop car

Yes, for about 5 hours till my folks came and bailed me out. Drag racing and failure to stop for a police vehicle. Wasn't doing either one. Was with a buddy and we were trying to keep up with a car of hot girls that were flirting with us at the light. So we weren't drag racing and the only reason I didn't pull over was because I was focused on other things.

The cop completely understood. Still arrested me AND the girl driving the other car. We got put in the same police car to go downtown. She was much cuter when she was driving her own car.

A year probation and judicial diversion.
