Sorry if Germans. I’m just so glad SWB is doing her part to avoid the spread of this tragic virus. It’d be great if she used some sort of sound deadening fabric for the mask.

She’s tried hard to get herself seen in this election year, but the Governor has dominated the news and limited her face time.
When all this settles out we will see her a lot.

She might try but she won’t get them. They used up all those bullets with CATS, MovEBR, COA, and the Bridge Center fiasco. More taxes isn’t going to happen.

I’d like to think there are enough C-P Council members that would not let a tax increase get on the ballot. And even then, it’s a very tough pass especially since the public has seen little or no benefit from the CATS, COA, Bridge Center or MovEBR taxes yet.

This. Her administration does a hell of a job advocating for taxes and then zero follow up after. Which is incredibly short sighted. They need to be running stories on the COA feeding the elderly, streets getting paved, etc. Now you and I know it’s all bullshite but this is how you convince the Sheeple. One more upvote and I’ll add it’s kind of hard to show roads bring paid under the MovEBR plan because I don’t know of any new projects that have started. They are still trying to give a change order for new software.
They may have helped the old folks, but nothing has been done to help the mentally ill and CATS has really not shown that more folks are using their buses.
