Mine was such a Master Manipulator, she remarried after only 8 months.

No engagement, just straight to the courthouse.

She announces EVERYTHING on Facebook but never that. Go figure.

And to this day her status only says “In a relationship.”

NOTHING about marriage whatsoever.

Things that make you go Hmmmm….

Maybe it was “Jody?” LOL!!!!!!!!!!

And she texts me more NOW, than when we were dating!

I ignore everything but texts about my 2 kids (14 & 17).

I finally had to walk away and then got the knowledge and figured it out in April 2022.

Is this why your posts on the Money Talk Board during that time period were so fricked up?

Nope. But my mom had/has it and my daughter does too. Mom never sought treatment and lives by herself in a house that I bought with no real friends and few family that will deal with her.

My daughter sought treatment and medication. She's been amazing last 4 years or so. She met and married a great guy that takes care of her and keeps everything in line. She's still a handful, but no where near the disaster she was in high school.

My ex girlfriend is a borderline, just an awful experience. They love to project their nuttiness onto you and accuse you of things that they in fact are doing. They’re master manipulators and she constantly was fricking with my emotions. One day I was the greatest thing since sliced bread the next I was the worst person in the world, sometimes her moods would even change within a couple hours. Luckily I was able to get out relatively clean in terms of no kids or financial commitments but even then it was hell getting out of the relationship. If you run into a chick like this RUN, I don’t care how good the sex is or how she makes you feel, RUN. You’re not gonna fix her or save her and she’ll just drag you down with her.

Oh yeah. I was victim #2 of at least 5 that I know of, and I lasted longer than any of the others at 5 years.

BPD is wild. i will say this though - even if you cant fix her (you cant), you can absolutely fix how you react and respond to her, which will help your own mental and emotional well-being immensely. (just speaking in general terms here to anyone else in the same boat who is not wanting to get a divorce. i know OP said he is already divorced)

People that post self-love on facebook daily are walking red flags.

My ex wanted to start basically an only fans before it was a thing.
Her admitting that was a big part of me realizing it was time to bolt.
She was self-centered, seeking admiration from strangers. What's wild is her dad was in her life and they seemed to have a good relationship. The daddy issue theory has holes.

It was never officially diagnosed, I believe my ex had this issue as well. She’s a former pageant girl and the down side of this never goes away.

Been there. 17 years exactly. I should've bounced at year 7, but there were kids involved. During the divorce (that she initiated), she starts blowing up my phone trying to hit the brakes. Having been away from her insanity for a few months and the kids making headway into accepting it, I was like "Nah, I'm good."

That’s ME!

And the really bad behavior seemed to run in 3 year cycles.
