Skip the house for now. Get the wedding over with first.
I'd skip the wedding or have a much cheaper one and buy the house.

It's really not THAT stressful.

Bonus points for one of them losing their job.

Elope or have a simple wedding
*aghast* But what about her fairytale, the day she has dreamed about for years?! Granted, the groom's face was always blurry in those daydreams.

Frick that... you get the house now so it's 100% yours in the event of divorce

Also change buying a house to buying land and BUILDING a house.

I bought a house, sold a house, and had a kid all within 6 weeks... you'll be fine

I closed on my house the week I got married, it was not hard at all.

Weddings are so overrated and pretty much there for the bride. In fact, if the woman demands an expensive weeding, then you might as well give her your balls because you ain't gonna be using them again. So yeah, suggest a marriage at the courthouse and see how she reacts. If she is cool with it then marry her but not at the courthouse. If not, cut and run but hit it again first.

Have a simple wedding. Big, expensive weddings are a huge waste of money

Doesn’t seem like you take advice so no point in giving any.

Either quit house shopping until after the wedding or just go get married at the courthouse.

Hope you're getting your fill of BJ's while they last. Good luck

Take her to look at some houses that are out of your price range. Then take her to some houses that are way below your price range. Tell her to pick a nice wedding or a nice house. If she picks the nice wedding, you'll know all you need to know.

Your getting to make a big mistake.
Never get married and buy a house at the same time.
Wait at least a year to see if you will like being married.
