He is not the first one to go hunting for daily doubles. A guy a year or so ago got popular for doing this.

He is sharp, enough so to go across the bottom of the board first, and gets four right at least, which puts his opponents off of their game.

How do you go hunting for Daily Doubles? Isn't it random where they are at?

I haven't watched Jeopardy in years, so maybe that's a stupid question..

They are almost always one of the bottom 2 in a category.

It wont work on him. If you watch, he is the most disciplined contestant ever. He typically only answers questions he knows. He has to have the lowest rate of wrong answers ever.

Also, he simply knows more facts than every other contestant. He is probably some kind of savant, which would explain being able to make a living on gambling.

He joked the other day that he is making so much, and is too well known that casinos "might not take my action any more."

I watched it a couple days ago and one of the other contestants started doing the same thing. It kind of threw Holzhauer off a bit.

I have my strategy ready, I already know the answers AND the questions:

What is Mexíco?

What are the Finger Lakes?

What is Titicaca?

What is the Rhône?

The guy is amazing. I forget about him being on there, and then catch it on like I did today. He just keeps winning.

Here's the M/TV Board thread: https://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/movie-tv/jeopardy---appointment-television-for-a-bit-here/82882269/

They are random. He isn't "Daily Double hunting". He is quick and super smart. Add that to the fact that he starts with the biggest money a the bottom of each category first and he runs away with the rounds before the other contestants can even get started. When he does hit a daily double he wagers big and I haven't seen him miss one yet.

I have seen him miss. But he gets back on the horse, goes for the biggest money clues still on the board.

He is absolutely "destroying" his competition. By the first break of almost every game, he is three times ahead of his competition, usually. He goes BIIIIIIIIIIIIG on his Daily Doubles and usually succeeds. He is not just winning, he wins huge, usually approaching $100,000 per episode while some of his competition barely crack $5000. It's not anyone whining or a generational thing, it is the simple truth.

rumors are, unlike the shows who offer big prizes, Jeopardy does not have insurance for this type of crush job.

He keeps this up, Alex won't be in a suit, and that game board will be made of cardboard and flash cards.

He doesn't do this. He starts at the bottom and gains as big of a number as he can before hitting them. He risks it all in the DD, boom, $130k daily total.

He just happens to get all the daily doubles because he is smart and quick on the button.

They are typically the #3 question with a deviation of 1.

They are rarely in the top or bottom question.

They're never at the top. I see them on the bottom pretty regularly.
