The apps have their advantages and fun moments and all, but overall it's better just doing the old fashioned thing and meeting them in person. Builds up confidence and is a better way of getting to know someone of the opposite sex easily.
Like some of yall are saying, it's harder for dudes. Even the chicks very low on the totem in looks and/or personality pole essentially have their pick of the litter of the many desperate dudes. Not to be a prick, but yeah, you can have your pick. Getting them is easy. But anything past the initial few casual dates will involve dealing with a bunch of bullshite.
Even with all those things above plus other qualities like work ethic, discipline, values/principles/morals/integrity (things that will make you a good husband/father), they still have a mind virus that convinces them there's "more" and that they "deserve" it.

I haven't been on a date with anyone other than my wife in over 20 years. Heaven forbid, if something ever happened to my wife or marriage I don't think I'd bother with dating again.
