Allmans were from Florida via Tennessee

I believe they called Macon Ga. their home or felt some connection to this place more than any other places they had lived.
Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon to get a glimpse of the freshly churned gravesite, a few feet and a thin fence away from his brother Duane and Allman Brothers Band bassist Berry Oakley.

Ideally, the Allman team will one day be united without any segregating structure.

“One way or the other, the intention is to enlarge the area so (everyone) is in a secure area together. There will be a memorial wall behind all of the graves, and the rest of the Allman family is welcome to come home as well,” said Gregg Allman’s longtime manager, Michael Lehman.

macon should receive almost no credit, in all honesty ... their musical genesis was in n'ville, and they grew up in florida

Uh...They pretty much claimed Macon as home. They're also buried there.

Little Richard

Allman Bros - (Jacksonville, FL)

Otis Redding

Jason Aldean

Young Jeezy - (born in South Carolina, grew up in Atlanta)

Ken Shamrock - (technically born at Warner Robbins AFB which isn't inside of Macon, Air Force brat who moved around. Moved off of the base to California when he was 5)

REM guy - (Stipe was born in Decatur and moved all around as an Army brat, Mills and Buck were born in California, Berry was from Minnesota)

Actor on 30 Rock (could you be less specific on this one?)

So, to rephrase your question...can you believe Little Richard, Otis Redding and Jason Aldean were all from Macon, Georgia? There are a shite ton of famous people who aren't from Macon that I thought were...can you believe that?
