Have a pair of Ray-Bans , but wanted another semi cheap pair to have as a back up. They look decent, wondering if anyone has gave them a try?

I got suckered into buying a pair. I found them extremely uncomfortable. Have no idea what drawer they are thrown into now.

Not a fan, lenses may be OK but the quality of the frame is terrible.

Not great. Even with a promo code I don’t think they’re worth it.

Best knockoffs I’ve found are at a stall in the French market. Like 8 bucks. I usually pick up a few every year at French quarter fest...

For a cheap pair of sunglasses, they were great for me. I didn't find them uncomfortable like some other posters.

They also easily honored their replacement warranty after I lost my first pair in the ocean.

The lenses lose their coating after about a month,, you can send them back for a new pair though

I second blenders. I have two pairs from them. Very affordable and well designed.

I’ve had These Shady Rays for about a year. They are awesome. Much better than the $300+ Oakleys I would previously wear.

Check out Goodr. Great, non-slip sunglasses. Very affordable too.

After spending about $2K on sunglasses over a 7-8 year period, losing multiple $300 pairs, I was put on to Shady Rah's by a friend. I liked the way they looked but knew from the price they weren't going to be that great. Found a promotion on Instagram for buy one get one free. So essentially got two for about $58 after tax. They work well and have a good style. But you get what you pay for. Definitely don't come close to holding up to the comfort and durability of an Oakley or Maui Jim.

I’ll third blenders. I also really like goodr.

They’re running sunglasses which I do use them for, but they’re solid as just plain sunglasses.

I got a pair to test drive some polarized lenses. They were great at first but they do fit awkwardly. Think I’ll try polarized ray ban or maui Jim next.

Maui Jims seem to be more comfortable. I wear the Kaupo Gap every day and they’re awesome. Very light and comfortable and elite lenses for under $250. Look good too. Ray Bans do have a classic style to them though.

Bought two pairs recently after I lost my favorite Coastas. They’re okay for the price point but not great. Noticed they make it hard as hell to see your cellphone screen while having them on compared to other glasses too. Also, get ready to see a ton of ads from them just from talking about them...

Yeah I agree. I like them for a cheap pair of sunglasses. I got them for like $25 with the promo code pmt or pft (can't remember which one it was).
