Has anyone ordered from Alibaba?

I am working on some property that I plan to build a house on in a couple years and I am building a barn out there now. I have been looking at 3 rail fence and the prices I have put together are roughly $15-30 a foot depending on materials. I can get a pvc 3 rail from alibaba for about $4 a foot and install it myself and time isn’t a worry on any of it.
I’ve ordered some AirPods of alibaba before and they work well but I haven’t ordered anything of this size from there. Has anyone and what is their experiences with it?

you do realize all they sell is crap from china so it will sit offshore for minimum of 6 months if not longer and you will die of old age before you get it
anyone who buys anything today that doesnt make sure its being shipped to them from inside the USA is gonna still be waiting for it well into next year if ever

Most of what I would find here in vinyl or pvc would most likely be from china too, just without the markup on it.
As for a 6 month delay, that’s genuinely not a problem in this case.
I would like to buy American but this is the cost difference between 20k and 5k if the product isn’t a turd. That’s the part I am trying to sort out.

How about you split your own rail like our forebears did. If you have land, all it takes is a cou9le of good straight cull trees, a borrowed or bought Alaskan sawmill and time/effort. Saves money and you'll get to post pics on the OB.

It’s literally decorative around 6.5 acres so I have about 1000-1500’ I am wanting to do. The rail fence is more or less just marking my property lines.
