Noticed this right after COVID and this was a big factor and me finally gettting myself to cut back on diet coke.

Went from pauying $13 at most for 3 12-packs, to 2 12 packs costing $18.99 or more.

Was at the WalMarks yesterday and a 2L was $2.69. Couple of years ago $1.49 was expensive for it.

Dude, go spend some time on the Money Board. There’s a whole cohort of posters who swear there has been no inflation and that our dollars haven’t lost any purchasing power at all.

Back in the early 90’s I was a Pepsi pre salesman and we
Would sell it at $5 a case. Stores would run that shite at 2.59 retail. That’s when K&B was the bomb….

Corporations have been raising prices to rake in more profit under the cover of inflation. This is pretty well known.

Yea all corporations are in cahoots. Not one of them decided to break the mold and take a much larger share by lowering prices.

I can't keep up with you leftists err moderates. One second you hate corporations, the next second you love them

I just bought a 24 pack of Diet Mt Dew for $9.99 at Walmart. That is down from where it was at $12.99 a couple months ago.

Did they hold a big meeting or something where they all decided at the same time that from now on they’ll be greedy?

They watched the federal government jack up their costs through legislation and poor fiduciary management and said frick it, there's no long term run here, let's get what we can while the gettings good.

Been a coke addict my entire life. Only way to buy them is by the 2 liter plastic bottles. You can get 2 for 4 dollars most days.

You think that’s bad? Look at bags of beans. I remember when a pound of beans would cost you 39 cents. Now? $3.00 for the cheap brand. Some brands charge at least $7

I paid over $14 for a 15 pack of Natty Light at Circle K last week. It's out of control.

Price of soda is too high. We need to increase the amount of money we give food stamp recipients so they can continue their diabetes drinks.

Yeah, this has been great news for people trying to buy a home. Oh, and have you looked at what the US is now paying in interest on the massive national debt? It’s now prolly our biggest line item. Woof.

It’s not about cokes, it’s everything. Healthy foods are as bad. Although, the inflation rate is 10% or less, it’s very uneven. Luxury items have gone up around that amount but staples have pretty much doubled or worse. It’s like the billionaires are starving out the middle class.
