People who wear those are likely to wear cock rings .

To each their own I suppose, but how difficult is it just to take off the ring when doing an activity that could damage it? I take mine off when fishing, lifting weights, etc. I don't think my wife thinks I'm any "less committed" by doing so. She thinks I'm simply just trying to avoid damaging the ring. She also takes her's off when working out, cooking, etc. I don't question her commitment because of it.

There are thousands of styles of metal rings. I'm sure the OP could find one he likes. However, if you just want to wear a rubber ring, there's no need to come up with some kind of "practical" justification for doing so. Especially when you can accomplish the process by just taking off the ring. If a rubber ring is your thing though, go for it. You'll look like a bozo in just about every other setting outside of working out, but it's your finger, not mine.

I don't wear my real wedding band. I have a cheap $50 band that I wear daily.

I'm too afraid of losing the band my wife bought me.

Same here. I'm on like my 8th or 8th gold band. I take it off and fiddle with it and invariably set it down, and don't notice until well.. I notice my finger doesn't feel right. I think my wife keeps spares now, because after the first time I lost it, I was all panicky.... now it's like...

"honey, I lost my wedding band again."
"Figures..." then I hear a drawer opening and some stuff moving around then "here you go, here's another one"

I would NOT be so forgiving if she lost hers, however. But it's worth a whole lot more.

Oh I know it won't it come off. I just find it amusing that you made fun of ruber ring but suggested getting ink.

Do they stretch easily?

I've thought about buying one to wear outdoors/working out/etc. My fingers swell when I go hiking so I always take my ring off.

they definitely give a little so you will be fine if your fingers swell.

a friend of mine says his fingers blow up when he eats crawfish. He didn't notice any discomfort with the band

I have a Qalo ring and it's awesome. Part of my job is doing inspections that require me to go up and down ladders quite a bit. I've seen what happens to a finger if you get a ring caught on something (had a Navy buddy we called 9-finger).

It's comfortable, cheap, and I don't have to worry about ripping my finger off.

I have one. I like it especially if I plan on being outside or doing some labor. It will make your finger sweat and if you wear it without taking it off for a few days your finger will peel.

Why? I presented a viable alternative that people currently use. You are apparently are faced with some sort of paranoia that you must let all know at all times that hey you're taken. So sorry for throwing my 2 cents in..

I got one, got my gold band hung up on a nail reaching behind a tub from under a house and had to stay like that for about 2 hrs. Not fun

LINK

I have something similar to this that I wear when I am camping, going to beach and all that.

It would break rather than bend if it had to be cut off.

are you sure you're following your logic with this post:

"Dude wants to wear a ring at all times"
"He Must be paranoid and have some need to let everyone know he's married"

That ring is fricking huge and looks dumb. Do they make normal sized ones for dudes who don't put dicks in their mouths?
