They're kind of like those drink just one shot of beer per minute contests. It seems like nothing at first but adds up after a while.

Dish 6: Redfish and a bunch of other stuff.
Biggest plate so far. Still underwhelmed.
It'll take 3 hours for all 12 dishes, so for those who do lift, that means it's time for another meal.

Are they pairing wine with each dish?

..only if you requested it.
I did it at Emerils and it was great. Not tonight, though.

Both the dishes you posted look like shite l, especially this one. Hope you didn't pay for the meal.

It's been ok so far. Nothing exceptional.

Grabbed a bite of this before snapping a pic. 48hr braised rib with 3 kinds of squash.

Had one once. I was stuffed out the arse. It was in Chicago and they served Ben Affleck and Matt Damon the night before. It was incredible. 7 courses.

What's the meal setting you back sans the wine pairing?
Looking at Chef Lopez menu it doesn't give any descriptions but all I've heard is good things about the place... well except for the prices

I've never done one of these things. The idea sounds interesting. How much does it cost?

I knew it was going to be on the high end of the tasting/chef menu prices for the city....
One of better/good deal reveillion menus I've had that you don't hear about the place much is Mila.
I'm almost always going to go with the wine pairing as well too
Thanks for the thread btw
