Anytime I read these stories I immediately picture a distant family that doesn't give the patriarch the time of day, but if a woman steps in and starts sucking his dick they immediately get all uppity about a home being wrecked.

No I haven't but here is my self imposed rule should such arise:

She must be half my age
Never had children
Must be independently wealthy
No add ons - tattoos/ rings/botox/falsies

No worries as this quadecta is akin to the unicorn

Not directly but have watched it play out. Its amazing how fricking stupid 50-something year old men act when a young succubus makes them believe they're into them

I’m 63 and if I was in that situation I’d believe. And because I believed it’d be true…to me. But she’d be a lot younger than 55!

What were the conversations with him like before his passing? Was any of this discussed?

But they don’t. Situations like this are just one group of gold diggers vs another. Neither is more entitled than the other.

Apparently OPs grandfather doesn’t feel that way. It’s his wealth, no matter how you twist it, he can do what he wants with it.

You can be upset about it but it doesn’t mean it’s righteous anger.

First thing after they married, she kicked the younger brother out of the house.

My younger sister sucked up to them but died before dad.

I was the oldest sibling. I got a great job and moved away. Got married and had a son. Grandpa saw my son a couple times a year. Instead of the 2nd farm going to me; dad said he was going to give it to my son.

When dad died; the will was read and instead of my son getting the 2nd farm; dad gave him $20,000. Do you know how long $20,000 lasts for an 18 YO kid? Not even a year.

No, my father is a fricking savage who would never let a simple woman control him especially if she’s after his loot.

This whole thread could be retitled “My family member is about to spend a bunch of his money that we all think we should get.” People lose their fricking minds when it comes to being “owed” an inheritance. Is the dude in his right mind? If so, then leave him alone to do what he wants.

Boomers had the world on a silver platter after their dads blew up every country that could compete with us and they gave it all away so that t shirts could be made for 25 cents cheaper

Boomers great grandkids will be eating grass to stave off starvation. I think the responsible thing is to pass something down. Your descendants didn’t choose to be born, you chose it for them

Neighborhood friend's father met a nurse in the hospital when his wife was dying of cancer who ended up taking him for $45,000.

You need to tell your grandfather. If he is going to go gold digger, to do it the right way. Don’t go 22 years younger, go 22 years old
