I get a new golf polo from work everytime we launch a new item pretty much.

In the oppressive Texas summer heat, golf polos come in handy.

Actually this doesn't sound too bad.

Putt Putt putters freaking suck but I'll use them with the family. A tournament I'd probably bring my own

A tournament with a bunch of kids and pre-teens, putting around child-like obstacles, to win a little plastic trophy?

Trust me, these weren't some high stakes tournaments.

Seeing guys get out of their cars, go into their trunks, and show up with these expensive putters at Putt Putt was just funny as shite to most of us.

Agree. People will know you are good regardless

Went this week with a guy who is a scratch golfer. When I was playing regularly, I could break 80. Used top golf clubs but it's obvious the people that can play. He's flying it into the back net while all the people around us might get it off the ground half the time lol

Do you bring your bag with you into the 19th hole after a round?

Does the 19th hole have 3 stories of bays and a game to practice hitting your ball at a target? I pretty much thought that's what Top Golf is? Maybe I missed the whole premise and it's like Fred's meets Putt Putt? That's the way some of you sure want it to be.

Well, that's not really designed to facilitate a golf game so your comparison is awful

Yeah, bringing your own clubs to Top Golf is kinda douchey, imo.

Wrong. It makes it far more enjoyable to use your own clubs. They even have a place for your bag to go at the bay. I have tried both ways and using my own clubs is a lot more fun. I wouldn't bring them to a big party there but if a few buddies are meeting to play and drink I will bring every time.

s it the kind of place you can kill 5 hours? I

Depends on how many ppl you have. Its fun for the first 30 to hr. If you arent drinking or watching a game then it gets old after a while

You honestly don't see a difference in playing a real life, actual golf course while keeping score and actually concentrating on shooting as best you can, and playing what is essentially a real-life arcade game from an upper deck shooting at light up targets less than 100 yards away?

what is the difference in going to hit at top golf vs a driving range....oohh yeah. Nothing.

I just think it's attention seeking. It screams out "hey everyone, I'm a REAL golfer. I'm so good at golf I can't be bothered to use these plebeian pieces of filth and must bring in my own titleists so I can beat everyone I play in TopShot. I will be sure to log into my account when I get home to track my progress"
well maybe non golfers should say out of top golf if they are that insecure....

To each his own. If you want to look like Mr magoo with all your titleist gear and a snazzy visor then that's your journey.

It's exactly this. It is not the driving range where you go practice. I have one 20 minutes from my house and have never been where I see anyone legitimately hitting balls like at a range.

what is the 19th hole? It is a bar with practice bays? If so sure. Sounds like a top golf.

hate playing with someone else's clubs when I'm on the course. Why is this any different?

Because top golf is not even close to playing on the course.
