Ahhh, Texas State University...the school for fine sluts who were too busy sucking dick in high school to make the grades needed to get into University of Texas, but still want to be close to and party in Austin.
THIS. THIS ALL DAY

If you like weed, sluts in bikinis and lots of domestic beer you will love it

Texas State women >>>>>>>> University of Texas women.

There's a hill on campus that the chicks lay out on in summer time in their bikinis. I'm talking about a shite ton of chicks. It is a sight to behold.

Plus when you aren't doing any of that shite on campuis you can surf the San Marcos river.
They have the river dammed off to a bottleneck and have a rock positioned at the bottom of the dam that creates a never ending wave. Went and surfed at 4:30 in the morning with one of my friends who was from SM to avoid any of the others who might show up.
Really is an awesome place with great people.
And if you get a chance, try to get on with the wakeboard or waterski team. They have one of the nicest private lakes (4 actually) in the country at SMRR. Never spent enough time in SM to find any negatives.

Fun fact... San Marcos is the fastest growing city in the U.S.
San Marcos/New Braunfels is the best part of Texas IMO. Unfortunately everyone else agrees and the area is getting very populous/congested with traffic.

Austin and San Antonio are no more than 45 away, and lots of small Hill Country towns surrounding it. If you can't find anything to keep you busy, something's wrong with you.

i agree with this. i had a kinda sorta decent job offer down there that i had to think long and hard about turning down... was still struggling with it even though it would have cut my salary in half if that says anything.
if i could get my salary in Georgetown or New Braunfels, i'd take it in a heartbeat.

Seriously, I had way more fun in my 4 years at Texas State than I did in my 5 years at LSU. Way way more fun. It wasn't even close.
