Kevin, does not beg for money. He very specifically asks for a loan and then never pays it back. I am in the areas he frequents a lot and am tempted to draw up some loan papers and agree to loan him the money for gas if he signs the document and provides 2 forms of ID and a thumbprint

I don’t carry cash, even when I do.

He’s approached me 3x in the last 6 months. I usually just tell him “get lost, Kevin” or “beat it Kevin” and he turns and walks away.
I’ve heard he gets pushy with women who are alone, yet never with guys or women who are accompanied by guys. Dude’s a pussy.

When under false pretenses, which it normally always is, that's exactly what it is.

I keep a hatchet in the door of my truck for moments just like this. Guns don't seem to make the crazies back up. A hatchet or a machete seems hardwired into their idiot brains.
My wife was reaching into her purse as I was coming up. Kevin probably thought it meant money. Knowing her it meant 115 grain hollowpoints.

He approached me last week at the Walgreens on Essen by OLOL. Thought the whole thing was bizarre by the way he was dressed.

He approached me the other night at the Exxon on Jefferson near Drusilla. I was getting gas around 11 pm when he came up, asked me if he could ask me for some assistance and I turned him away with a very curt “no, you can’t”. Little did Kevin know that when I pulled up, I saw two sketchy looking black guys in a car in front of the station, facing out toward Jefferson…so before I got out of the car, I slipped my snubnose .38 into my pocket.
TL, DR: Kevin is playing a very dangerous game out there.

I see him at the Racetrac on Essen by the interstate in the morning sometimes
I just stare at him when he asks for money. He usually has a blazer on I think

The worst post-Katrina scam was this: people would 'sell their car' on the cheap and say, "I don't have the title because of the storm."
Some got thousands of dollars.
They'd then demand the car back later - even having the police help them, "If the car is titled in his name, give it back to him."
The local police also used to not give a flip about contractor fraud. A guy in a worktruck witha longstanding B.R. business stole $800 from me.
I'm in B.R. City Court trying to get it back and another guy approaches me saying he couldn't find the scammer to serve him. I gave him the address I had.
"How much did he scam your guy out of?"
"$8,000."
!

Does anybody know what/if he drives? I had a middle aged white guy in a Jeep Grand Cherokee damn near run in to me as I was leaving the Wal Mart parking lot on Coursey As I rolled down the window to ask WTF are you doing he begged be for some money.

I think you met Kevin.
He drives nice cars and he asks for a business card so he can mail you back the money. Down to earth. Seems like a working guy who just had a bad break and needs to get home.
Yeah.
I donated!

He got me a few years ago with some story about selling medical supplies.

think Patrick owns more than that. A few more near Jefferson and Chelsea.
I wonder what Patrick’s username is on here? Scrolling his FB he’s got to post here. I used to live in Westminster and his “rental properties“ are indeed shithole flop houses. They were always having problems there.
