My dad was like that too, really stupid in my opinion. I would rather my kids be happy with someone of their choosing than miserable with someone of mine. As long as they are treated well, who cares?

Although my reply was to you, it was really meant more in jest toward the posters saying that their dads would be pissed if they brought home a black girl, or threatened to kill them.

And I have far more than one example, that just happened to be a wedding I attended this past weekend.

Last week at our community poker tournament, the topic of whether anyone had ever been with a black woman came up. Without missing a beat, an older guy that I've known for years said, "Hell, I didn't know white women had a pussy til I was 21." I quite enjoyed that.

Well, I vote for a whatever floats your boat in that regard, but I do think modern TV has a lot of what old guys think are unusual social attitudes. Not intended to change the mind of adults, but to have children grow up thinking this "change" is normal. Altering public opinion by burying us in the new way of doing things. Seems like everything has some sort of hidden agenda.

Just Hollywood trying to force stupid shite down our throats and try to brainwash the younger generation. Many of them wouldn't do it themselves, but they want to do it to the rest of the population.
