Sometimes trash wants trash. Lucky for your friend, he isn't still with her. I remember having a conversation about 20 something years ago with a fellow soldier who was black, he couldn't stand interracial dating, said it was diluting the race. Me, I don't care, do what makes you happy. Can't really cry white privilege though if you are going after them to date... That's hypocrisy.

My 13 year old nephew has a black girlfriend. No problems with the families or in his school. Small town in the middle of Alabama.

I said it's pretty rare, and you seem to agree.
Out of everybody you know in your life, you seem to only have ONE example in your mind of this.
I also have a white friend who is married to a black woman. There was also a white man that lived on my street 20 years ago who was married to a black woman. So there are some select examples I can point to in my life. But compared to how many thousands and thousands of people and couples I've come across in my life, it's still very rare.
There is nothing wrong with it at all. It's simply an observation that advertisers seem to be pushing this demographic all at the same time for some reason.

Black strippers and black hooters girls like the one mentioned earlier seem hotter because they are rarer. And well they are strippers or Hooters girls after all so that helps

I got to think IRL these relationships are 70/30 BMWW. That’s hipster for black man white woman.
Prior poster said black woman had it bad in the interracial dating game. I would think Asian men have it bad as well. White men are far more likely to be attracted to Asian women then vice versa I think. I Developed huge yellow fever of the last couple of years

I haven't noticed the commercials with this combo, but don't look for it either. I don't believe I could ever date outside my race, but do find men in other races attractive. I remember hanging out in new orleans and surrounding areas with a white guy friend and sometimes getting looks, but no one ever said anything. I think it takes a strong minded individual to do it because there are still people who will say inappropriate comments or give judgemental stares. I don't have it in me to feel like I have to defend my relationship constantly to those who would disapprove of it.

Well, she is the prettiest girl in school and is in his gifted class. Got that good hair. So, that helps.
