Yeah fair. We looked hard at that Cochise (sp?) area when we fled Buckhead. As I recall, a couple of really great pockets but they're small so there just wasn't ever a lot on the market.

The biggest problem I have with Vinings is schools are okay-to-lousy (Campbell district).

Their IB program is top notch though.

I was a Head Coach for the McEachern middle school program when AJ came through. When he was a 6th grader, I had the combined 6th and 7th grade team. AJ had played RB at Due West pound ball and his dad Mike was not happy at first when I wanted to try him at QB. I wanted a smart player with ball handling skills to run my offense. AJ was mature beyond his age and understood the importance of precise footwork and play fakes needed to make the offense as effective as possible. We actually lost to Harrison in the playoffs his 6th grade year but we won the championship beating Lassiter his 7th grade year. I had his younger brother Andrew quite a few years later when I had the 8th grade team and won the championship with him at QB also. Beat Pope in 2002 and they had TJ Yates at QB.

It was 90% White in the 1980 census. Today, it’s 8% White and 69% Black.

So it’s much better now.

So sad…but a story that has been retold across the country.

Seems like everywhere just gets worse. The ghetto somehow grows infinitely. I’m finding it impossible to believe that 13% number. Like how.

That’s just the nationwide percentage though, population just shifts towards cities.
