Has 2022 finally caught up with Chic Fil A? Peppermint shakes are halted

Wife and I stopped at the one in Gonzales while driving around with the kids to look at Christmas lights and she wanted a peppermint shake. We were told that corporate made them stop selling it. When questioned further, the kid said he didn’t know exactly why but that they even stopped sending the shake base to make them. We got our food and left then called another one to ask. They lied and told us their machine was broken (

Costs have risen to the point of dropping margins below 30% in the fast food industry. That’s not sustainable and many franchisees have chosen to forgo the costs associated with offering holiday specials because they’re not making that money back on secondary items purchased.

The peppermint shake is definitely available, they will run until Jan 10-ish. Each store will have them as long as there is supply. With the way supply chain is these days, getting even regular items is a crap shoot.
