What role did the potted plant get for taking the money shot, Harvey?

I think she is absolutely right in that's how the industry works. But I also think it is disingenuous to think there weren't many, many actresses who were MORE than happy to participate in this quid-pro-quo arrangement. As evidenced by the fact they still remained friendly with this guy even after they gained enough clout in the industry to no longer have to let this weirdo jerk off next to them in elevators. Does anyone really think the existence of the "casting couch" was some shocking, then unknown, 2018 revelation?
Now, I'm not saying that practice was "right" by any stretch of the imagination. Just that it is a bit ridiculous to see all this after the fact faux outrage and virtue signaling from famous actresses who were just fine with what they did in exchange for the extravagant lifestyles they got lead...until it became admirable to be a "victim." By and large they weren't "forced" to do anything. No one HAS to become an actress. They were both consenting adults participating in a mutually beneficial act.
Again, not saying it is morally "right". But spare me the "babe in the woods" routine.

Dunning said that she later agreed to meet Weinstein at a hotel cigar bar, but that an assistant took her to a suite where the "Pulp Fiction" producer was standing in a bathrobe. There, she said, Weinstein showed her a contract for three movie roles she would get on the condition she had "a threesome with his assistant."
I know Harvey Weinstein is POS and is facing a lot of different charges, but what was the crime committed in this situation? Solicitation of prostitution?

I don't know if Dunning has accused him of anything illegal, but it's possible she's just a fact witness to demonstrate the pattern of his behavior and how he coerced women into sleeping with him, and in some cases potentially raped them when they refused.

He needs to come out and name everyone who happily fricked or blew him for movie roles

Im going to sound like a complete a-hole here (which is par for the course for the OT) but aside from the girls that were involuntarily touched or fondled by him why should I feel sorry for all of the Hollywood whores who willingly let him and every other Hollywood sleazebag take advantage of them?
They knew the drill and were more than happy to go along with it and pimp out other women for these guys, Meryl Streep defended him in the beginning until it became politically inconvenient to do so. So why should I feel sorry for all the other actresses who suddenly are all up-in-arms about what happened when they were more than happy to go along with this farce for decades?

I mean, he's a scumbag but he's not wrong
Whores whored themselves out for roles. They all deserve what they get IMO (both the "victims" and scumbag Harvey)
The #metoo "victims" were just shutting the door behind them since they are already established stars who slept their way to the top. They don't want others doing it to pass them up
I think it's awful that they conflated the issue so much, which takes away from actual sexual assault/rape victims who's stories DO need to be told

By her own admission she used to turn tricks before she had any money. Some desperate mofos right there.

I dont get it all either. If he raped someone, lock his arse up forever. If people fricked him to get roles in movies, well, that's on them.
This shite has been going on since the dawn of man. True quid pro quo.

He needs to buy one of those Paltrow vagina candles and then return it for false advertising and tell them ... doesn't smell anything like Gwenyth's vagina the way he remembers it smelling.

Who is asking you to feel sorry for them? This case surrounds multiple allegations of unwanted fondling and rape.

Which actresses were happy to go along with it but now are up in arms? Are you insinuating Meryl Streep slept with him to get a role?

Hollywood prostitutes trading arse for movie roles has been going on since Hollywood was founded.
I have no sympathy for any who accepted the deal.
The music industry is the same way. Ray Charles had a group of back up singers called the Raelettes. One of the former Raelettes said in an interview. "To be a Raelette you had to let Ray."
