Last few frames of satellite and radar loops for Harvey seem to show a flair up of showers/energy right near the center of circulation. If that mother fricker gets its act together, I wouldn't be surprised if it made landfall as a Cat 1.

this is exactly what the euro predicted 5+ days ago and almost in the exact position that current models are pointing

The euro had like ten different predictions. It is not surprising that one of them was correct.

yeah i agree i cant see is strengthening that much but it has strengthen some since its been over the GOM

The Euro whiffed badly on the strength though.
I realize everyone is gun shy after the flooding last year and what not, but this thing is not strengthening given its setup. Dry air is consistently infiltrating the core of Harvey. It takes more than just warm water to strengthen a storm.

The last model run you should had 5" for the Houston area . Is that a current model or from yesterday ?
