I knew you and supernova were really helpful but there was a guy who was very informative with the backflows into bayous, etc.

Had to be rds dc? That guy is money and called all of the backflow, etc. way ahead of time IIRC.

Seems to be building that back up pretty fast after it goes back over water.

our latest forecast puts the storm back over water longer than the NHC does... second landfall somewhere around galveston bay but it's a long way out.

Lightning is starting to pop on the eastern eyewall, and recon is getting a 950 mb pressure. It's strengthening.
