Hardest:

Tie: thermo- 1organic-theory of linear algebra ( never used a number in entire class…all letters)…fwiw … I stopped going to organic cause I never understood what the prof was talking about… I did the study test a zillion times the weekend before the test and just looked at the question and did something similar from the study test… passed with a c and did not have to take org 2 ( I was a PetE )

Most interesting:swimming .. was taught in the old pool presently being modified.

Did you ever have Stockley or Sutherland? I had several classes with Stockley, and even though I could not stand to listen to his liberal nonsense, he was a cool dude, and his classes were always interesting. Just getting to talk about politics, and debating it was always fun, especially since I was there when Clinton and Trump were facing off in 2016.

Sutherland was very funny, but a good and knowledgeable professor.

I took Military History with Dr. Brown, and that was probably my favorite class in college. No BS, just history, and military history is very very interesting.

Analytical Chemistry and lab one summer semester at LSU. The class average was around 50. Happily took my C, dropped the lab and changed my major.

Best/Easiest was Marketing 320 - Salesmanship. Prof insisted we all call him "Dave". Dude was a world class salesman. Learned more in that class about people than any psychology class.

Hardest was French. I don't articulate well. Had to drop it twice, then find a major that didn't require a foreign language elective.

Undergrad dual major English/Chemistry

Hardest Diffy Qs. By that point I knew I would never be doing any high level math ever again in my life and I just didn't have the commitment level

Honorable mention Spanish, I never had the day to day study skills for foreign language and cramming doesn't really work

Most interesting South Carolina history mainly because it was taught by an incredible (and incredibly old) prof who was a legend at the time

Honorable mention History of Western Art, again as much the prof as the subject but it did spawn a life long love of fine art

Grad school

Hardest: Business Agency Partnership and Limited Liability Companies At the time I could not have cared less about the subject matter and hated the professor

Most interesting: Torts it still remains the most interesting area of law for me

Honorable mention: Products liability was just an extension of my love of torts.

I took engineering physics 2 and linear algebra/differential equations compressed into a single summer. That was NUTS I did not have a life that summer.

Also I won’t miss a LSU academics thread without praising Jai all hail the legend

Most interesting: Greek/Roman mythology with that old professor who wore seersucker suits. Huge classroom at the bottom of Lockett.

Most Difficult: I struggled with geology because I couldn’t understand a damn word coming out of the Chinese professors mouth. All I remember her saying was potassium feldspar and Mt. St. Helens.

Most interesting was easily Political Science 4021 Constitutional Law.

Took it during inter secession during the summer before my Senior year. 3 hours of class from 1pm-4pm Monday through Saturday for three weeks.

6 hours of reading homework each night. Open book quiz on the reading the next day every day.

I enjoyed reading the jurisprudence of some of the greatest legal mines and their interpretations of the Constitution and its application to the watershed cases that shaped current laws.

It’s been twenty years, but I can still recite half of the first ten amendments of the Constitution from memory.

Robert Stoner was the professor I believe.

LSU ISDS and Finance alumni 1999:

Hardest is a Tie between:
ACCT 3021 Intermediate 2 Accounting(I just don't get that shite)
ISDS 3082 Javascript(we had to write every website from scratch in Notepad)

Most interesting is easy: Management 3200 with Kerry MFin Sauley. As a 21 yr old kid, I soaked up and clung to every little nugget and story he told.

Thermodynamics. My professor told us “The 1st time you take thermo, you don’t get it. The 2nd time you take thermo, you still don’t get it. The 3rd time you take thermo, you’re so used to it that it doesn’t matter.”

It also teaches you how the physical world works, which was really awesome.
