Hard to believe it's already been 5 years since this 7-person speed boat crash video

he broke his cheek bone and "broke" his back.

But his back injury wasn't bad like cause paralysis. He was in the middle opening a restaurant when it happened. He barely missed any time from work.

His girlfriend is in the green. Her daughter is in the middle in the pink. She hurt her back too. But nothing long term.

Pretty amazing it wasn't even worse than that. He came down with a lot of force.

What's the back story here on what caused this? Looks like maybe he was going at an angle rather than straight into the waves, caught some air, landed against a wave at an angle and spun to a quick halt. But I'm not boat expert.

If you pause the video off and on during the deceleration part you can see it appears that lady's sunglasses take a 90 degree turn in mid air and that dude is totally horizontal. When he got thrown, he really got thrown.

No offense to you, but your friend is pretty retarded.

I cannot watch this video without laughing.

I love the serious faces of a bunch of “badasses” rocketing across the lake in a Fountain before the woman in green gets the firehose in the face and Captain Ron dives like a felled tree.

Is he such a good friend that you would be uncomfortable talking about what led up to it?

It's all fun and games until it turns into A Night At The RoxBury, sans cool music.

Them two skanks looked like they were used to a pounding, they were taking it well.

I bet there's a mother/daughter threesome in there somewhere.

Never a good idea to have the throttle in the cusp of your hand in choppy water. There's a tendency to push your weight down on it should you fall or lean.
Should grab up under and around it, and use your fingers, as opposed to the palm
