I thought so. When we were helping gnarly barley rezone and build the kitchen across the street I had to go to some of those meetings. The church next door was concerned about the beer drinking and a bunch of people came to speak on behalf of the church…turns out they were paid to be there by this jackass and weren’t even members of the church…

Have a big problem with this. 18 year olds can lose their lives in the military but can’t go to a bar to try to pick up girls?

Easy solution, make an exception for military

The insane thing about this is the Hammond bar scene isn’t even a shadow of what it used to be 20-30-40 years ago. For a college town it is basically nonexistent now compared to what it used to be

With 18-20 year olds you basically can't have video poker... plus you have to watch who you're serving to or you lose your license. It's much less of a hassle to just not welcome those who can't legally buy alcohol.

He’s not in the ballpark for being smart. Maybe he should focus on the influx of out of town democrats that roll into town on the weekends. If there’s a problem at any of the bars that’s where it stems from, not 18-20 years olds just “hanging out”. But of course that doesn’t fit his agenda
