I don’t know what you mean by “it’s done”. It certainly is plunging into a deep down cycle, but it will be back...big time!

I think they must be stacked for 6 months or a year. Not forever.

Big time layoffs. Eliminated an entire layer of management and are cutting operations in a lot of fracking fields. Lots of people looking for new work

Why do you say fracking is done? I certainly don’t agree but I’m willing to hear an argument.

RIP Drilling for about 2 years.

shite's getting real on the Production side of things too though. When you're making treatment recommendations for shutting in wells for 30, 60, and 90 days, and you start remembering the original time frame for Corona, you start realizing your job is probably on the line too.

See y'all in three months when we see Peak Oil at $115/Bbl.

They not only laid off 200+ in Kilgore, Tx, they're closing the actual business site after over 80 years presence there.

Layoff in soft market. Hire like crazy, train up, and move forward once prices recover.

At what point does the worker opt for stability vs $$? One would think that with two big rounds of layoffs in six years (2014 and 2020), people would say “no” next time they come calling and needing workers.
