He teaches sports medicine and actually is a good teacher. Lots of people around here are shocked. I feel bad for his parents if this is all true, I went to school with them.

Yep, Ken is moving to the central office as a curriculum director and Laura Abbey is taking over as principal. This was announced in January.

Both of my kids played sports at Hahnville and were treated by him when injured. He knows his stuff and does a good job of caring for the athletes. Hope all of this turns out to be BS.
Epic, you are correct that most of the student trainers are and have been females. I do know very few boys take the sports medicine class which is required before you can be selected for a student trainer spot.
