The poison pill to your whole premise starts with the first clause:

The numbers are probably bogus, but the concept is true enough. When the alarmists count carbon, the usually don’t include the carbon from the burning of vegetation, since theoretically, that carbon is part of the normal cycle of carbon release and requestration of living things.
It’s only the release of trapped carbons that gets counted.
