How do flat earthers explain circumnavigation? Teleportation from one edge to the other?

They can get around most objections. But can they explain why a compass works? There is an entire science of navigation, that was figured out in the nineteenth century, that allows mariners with a compass to navigate the globe very precisely.

But anything fairly complicated can be denied, and only very patient mathematical proofs can overcome the denier. None of us on here have the patience, and very few have the wherewithal, for that. And 0.0% of the deniers have the IQ required to follow the proofs.

With the advent of the internet you can “believe” whatever you want and find like minded people to nod their heads yes. In the case of flat earthers it’s the “smarter than you” incentive of human nature that has a grip on them.

I didn’t read everything so I apologize if this was said already and correct me if I’m wrong- but isn’t the fact that certain things are only visible in the cosmos (comets and what not) to certain geographic areas at a time proof? Something millions of miles away in space would be visible to an entire flat earth? Also, I think the movie The Core disproves this emphatically. As well as being aligned with Kyrie Irving on anything. Open and shut case Johnson.

Look, things heavier than air fall.

Things lighter than air rise.

It’s that simple. There is no “gravitational” force.

You’ve been indoctrinated. I bet you also believe human beings can control the climate too?

How do boats float, even if the material is heavier than water, like steel battleships?

Research, find an answer, then re-read what you just typed and understand why you are a moron.

Why can't you just tell us first

ETA: I bet you don't really know like 9/10 people who come in and say "you don't know shite. You're a moron"

So please tell us

In virtual calls with Hong Kong often at sunset time in West, simultaneously I have seen sun rise in Hong Kong. Have seen kids get home from school and go to school on same virtual calls exactly as one would expect across time zones on a round Earth.

Do you know any sea farers at all? Guessing no. Meet one. Introduce your beliefs. Discuss how mariners have navigated this flat Earth for centuries.

Well, that's not easy to find.. Because it doesn't exist. The earth would have to actually be flat. But like I said, there are pictures (not real) of a flat earth.

I was just posting it before some flat earther posted it and tried to use it to support their stupid argument.

They are all of these things.

Go ahead and try them out. Tell me which mathematical proof of round earth you used and the repeatable results of your experiment.

You didn't understand the layman's version when I laid out why your meme that you posted was wrong, where I was using an napkin math version of kinematic and geometric formulas. Any proof of the curvature rests on further derivation of those formulas and seeing as how you still don't understand the first, I'm skeptical you would understand any at all.

I knew you wouldn't deliver. Nothing "round earth science" has ever delivered. That's a problem

Because it's flat, like a pizza.

Again, let's focus on your first meme. Did you understand where my numbers came from, or rather, where the obscured elevation number came from on your meme?

You tell me, and tell me how you know that. Show me the proof
