This one's easy. The people who take up three machines at one time. The one they are using (or on their phone), the one with their overnight sized bag on, and the one with their gallon jugs of water and pre-workout on.

Guy who comes into the weight room, loads up the bar, then sits there for another few mins, does 2 reps, sits for a few minutes more, gets up and leaves. All total 10 mins and 2 reps.

I own a franchise gym and I can give you a huge fricking list, but here are the top 5…
1. Not racking weights after done on a plate loaded machine. Having to unload 7 plates per side on the leg press because some cheesedick was trying to impress his bitch with half reps at night is frustrating to say the least. It also warps barbells if 225+ is left on for an extended period of time.
2. All high school or fresh out of high school aged males. Usually guilty of no.1, they are also very guilty of “sitting” on a machine which is basically doing a set once every 10 mins then walking away and bullshitting, then another set 10 mins later, etc. “Nah bruh, I was on that getting my sets in. Still got 3 sets left bruh.”
3. Members that believe a commercial gym is a circuit training facility during peak member hours. These individuals will do bent over barbell rows in the squat rack (I have two squat racks in my gym to combat this), then walk over to a plate loaded row, then over to an overhead cable lat pulldown and continue to take up three machines at a time. It seems common courtesy and decency is all but lost.
3. Speaking of common courtesy, the lifters that bring chalk into the gym to hit that deadlift PR and then proceed to get chalk over every single dumbbell or piece of equipment in the entire gym with no regard and refuse to clean up after there self.
4. Throwing heavy dumbbells on the ground after a set. If you cant handle the weight to get back up from the bench, stand up with it and then walk it back to the rack in between sets then youre using too much weight. They get warped easily when thrown on the ground consistently.
5. Members that sweat all over every piece of cardio and don’t wipe equipment down after use even though I have 5 sanitizing stations all throughout the gym. frick those people too.
