I know. But I'm hoping the adults in the room have a moment of clarity and realize its the kids who really need as much support right now after losing their mom.

Several people wanted more info but CD wasn't around to give any updates. Questions and info were brought forth which led to some people who donated changing their minds.
I'm sorry for your loss, but I strongly suggest you do not exacerbate the situation.

Someone made a really good point earlier today. I was one of the first to ask about getting the girls Christmas gifts and never heard back from him at all. That concerns me.

Well I didn't donate so I am not mad about losing anything, its the principle.
There are good people on this board. Because of the good people on this board, $22k was raised within a few hours to help a guy bury his wife. Some people took their money back and they still have $20k, that's more than enough needed to bury someone.
Yet someone is posting under the same account used to post the situation about his wife, telling the board they owe him an apology.
Thankfully Chicken isn't going to allow GFM pages on here anymore, but there are only a few things worse than an ungrateful frick who thinks people who have more than them, owes them something.

But you are acting just like an addict. You are trying to make people feel bad hoping to milk as much as you can out of this situation.
You are pitiful for using a tragic situation and the kindness of people to get money for your fix.. And probably for Christmas presents since all the money you ever get probably goes in your veins.
