You people are ate up with it. No use. I'll leave the panic circle jerk.

Hope this guy gets the lethal injection for shopping while not sick. Bring on the up votes for that enlightened opinion.

If you come across someone with the virus, you have a .5 percent chance of catching it. So, do you know how many goddamn people he could have knowingly infected in a busy Walmart (let’s say 400 people), or are you intellectually challenged?
Lol okay lets break this down. “You” in this hypothetical situation could range from someone with a perfectly fine immune system, healthy as an Ox, or someone with existing health problems that cares for a parent with many existing health problems. You could also become infected and be a carrier of the virus while displaying little to no symptoms and thinking you’re just fine while you go around your grandma and your mom that’s had 5 heart bypasses and has a weakened immune system, go and smoke a joint with a few buddies and unkowingly pass it on. But please, go on. This isn’t about healthy people getting it. It’s about the people those healthy people can infect should they become a carrier.

Its kinda like a situation of yelling “fire” in a movie theater. Sure there’s not really a fire, but it was done to incite a crowd to panic. Same thing with him going around a grocery store claiming to have coronavirus and saying he spreading it to everyone else. With the 14 day incubation period, this guy is going to cause a bunch of people to be at home isolating themselves and having nervous breakdowns for the next 2+ weeks because they might come down with a sore throat and mild fever

You seem reasonable.
Please, carry on.

By the way, answer we were looking for is 2 out of 400 could catch the virus if you came into contact with them.

If you are susceptible, or caring for susceptible people, you should be wearing gloves in public. Case closed and moving on...

I literally made this exact analogy a week or so ago. Incredible that you have to argue with people to try and make them understand this shite.

I don’t condone what he did, it’s certainly stupid and ethically questionable, but I do find it amazing and quite sad that some people think he should be arrested - and even worse, some say beaten and/or killed - for walking around and shopping with a common respiratory virus.

I long for the days when we'd just want him beaten for having neck tats and wearing a flat bill.

Man arrested after claiming to have COVID-19 during Facebook Live inside North Carolina Walmart

Detectives with the Albemarle Police Department arrested Rhodes and charged him with felony perpetrating a hoax in a public building and disorderly conduct.

He received a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 30.

Glad that dumb POS got arrested and charged with a FELONY.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

One of the very first cases in the US detailed a guy getting it, giving it to his wife, kids, the person that drove him to the ambulance and a few other people. For only having a .5% chance of getting infected after they’d come into contact with the guy they somehow all caught it. Maybe they should’ve told the virus it only had a .5% chance to infect them.
