I agree

While I agree with the sentiment, if the store doesn’t care much about their products to keep people from stealing them, why should I risk my life to do so?

For the adventure of it.

Slash the tires on their getaway car.

I would go with a pocket knife to the valve stem on a couple tires. That way when the criminal hires a lawyer to sue for it you wont be on the hook for much destruction of property.

Just a $5 valve stem.

The entire detergent section at Target in Minneapolis was behind lock and key, crazy

Not crazy if you remember George floyd riots when they almost burnt a target down in one of the twin cities.

Target and other companies should have pulled out of that shithole area after that.

A few years ago they had issues with Tide laundry detergent used as currency in drug deals instead of cash.

They also had kids eating them on social media.

I know detergent is relatively expensive, but damn..

Maybe because no one’s life was in danger?
He was stealing detergent.

Had that cop shot him - he would’ve been charged with murder.

Went to CVS in New Orleans and almost everything was locked up. I have to press a button to call a worker to get a can of starch. This is a bad sign. I wouldn’t want to live in an area that has to lock up starch.
