Looks like a blue collar guy that probably spent all his disposable income to send his girls to get this elite training. He probably feels a tremendous amount of guilt himself already. Terrible.

Sure, everyone of them are probably fathers. Normally if someone did this they would do a few weeks behind bars and be held in contempt of court. But based upon some of the comments from the judge in this trial. I think they probably just took him outside the chambers and released him.

It would be interesting if the judge had some leeway here.
Judge: Dr Nasser, I will take 20 years off of your sentence of you willingly go into a room, unsupervised and unrestrained, for 2 minutes with this man. What say you?
Dr Nasser: Uh, no thank you.
Judge: 50 years?

I have to agree with this. If he would have gotten to him and severely hurt him (while completely deserved) it would have just prolonged the whole ordeal for his family. In the end the dad would likely walk away but that would be some stressful times in the middle.
